Welcome To Seattle Grace Hospital - Would you want to be a patient in this Hospital?

Calling all  Grey's Anatomy Virgin's ( I mean  Newbies), If you just started watching this crazy show  like me , you know it has characters with so many flaws and idiosyncrasies you can't help shaking your head and burst out laughing ! This should be a sign that you should not admire the craziness within them,and yet you still love them then this blog is the right place to be.

Yeah I know the show has been on for 16 seasons, and I'm late to the party , but cut me some slack will you , I'm a new fan who has a lot to say about Greys on the whole .


Okay first of all  Meredith and Cristina ( Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh) are so my girls it's beyond ridiculous , they are funny in a neurotic, overachiever way  , but you have to respect them because they and Izzy ( Katherine Heigl), Callie ( Sara Ramirez) and Miranda ( Chandra Wilson) are working in an environment where men are the higher paid doctors who have bigger problems than making the female doctors and nurses fall in line.

They all suffer from what I would describe as the charm offensive syndrome! This is the syndrome where the guys think by placating and being condescending and smarmy with the girls will win them brownie points as well as the ladies affections !

 Well, except for poor innocent lovely George , wouldn't hurt a fly , and Alex Karev lol oh my god that boy is obnoxious , you can't help but appreciate the fact Cristina and  Meredith have dubbed him the " Evil Spawn" for a reason.

He is not shy about steam rolling  over the female doctors to get ahead at Seattle Grace , but at the same time I can't help but laugh at his pure unadulterated outspoken rude manner.

Poor Dr Richard Webber has the unfortunate task as chief of surgery of playing boss,  and annoyed father figure to the chest thumping egomaniacs in the shape of Dr Derek Shepherd , Dr Mark Sloan, Dr Preston Burke and Dr Owen Hunt.

Truth be told I love them all , every dysfunctional one of them.

I had to laugh when Dr Arizona Robins came into the picture on her roller running shoes blowing bubble gum bubbles.

Lexi Grey ,Meredith's half sister's  and her over eager attempt to get to know her just made me cringe . Poor Meredith was so irritated at first,  but eventually she softened towards her. 

The revolving door of sisters  and his mom made me feel sorry for poor Derek ! But the ladies made me laugh with their pushy, nosey , rude manner   lol and they literally did his head in .

The arrival of Jackson and April made me shake my head as April is like an over excited puppy who tries so hard to please people. 

While Jackson tries not to live in his grandfather's and his momma's shadows ! Meredith can relate to him the most as she had an overbearing famous mom whose shadow she fought to get out from under and succeeded.

The saddest  and shocking moments for me on the whole were when Izzy got cancer, George died  after saving a woman from getting hit by a bus , the hospital shooting , Callie and Arizona's car crash as well as the plane crash that killed both Mark and Lexi. 

Meredith had had so many near death experiences that I can't decide wherther she was suicidal or just crazy.

Ellis Grey's ghost haunted Adele Webber to the point even when she was clearly suffering from Alzheimers she couldn't let go of the past .

Alex's family background was filled with a crack head mom , and an Abusive dad lead him to try to save a cavalcade of women he just wasn't equipped to deal with .

So he thought he could fix Izzy  , crazy patient Rebecca and then Jo. In all reality he should have just avoided them at all costs .

Cristina was left at the altar by Burke , but then met Owen . Who is an absolute sweetheart. But they split.

Oh and then there's Maggie  , lol Meredith's half sister . A sweet intelligent girl who came on the scene just before  Meredith lost Derek after his rental car was hit head on by a truck. 

He died without having a Catscan because a lack luster surgeon was too late and Derek died on the table .

Meredith at this point has Zola and Bailey and eventually pregnant with Ellis.

Meredith , Richard and  Alex were fired by Miranda who ended up being chief of staff. 

But the real question I want to ask is would you want to a patient at this hospital with the constant quarreling amongst the staff and the loud sex noises coming from the on call room .

At this point  ... I'm anxious for series 16 to be aired on Netflix cause this chick is hooked now and wants her Greys Anatomy fix.
